On New Beginnings (and New York City)

"A young man, in my opinion, before setting up for himself, must see the world; form his taste; fortify his judgment. He must study the most famous monuments, examine the organization of foreign societies, and the habits and customs of those older civilizations whose yoke it has been our glory to cast off."
-Edith Wharton in False Dawn

"What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? - it's the too huge world vaulting us, and it's good-by. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies."
- Jack Kerouac in On the Road

#1: You Inspire Me. You Believe in Me. You Challenge Me.

And I truly believe that we have all the right ingredients for a successful marriage.

Today is our wedding day! The start of a new beginning for us. I'm so lucky to have you by my side - for life. In a few short hours, there will be meaningful words spoken, kisses exchanged, papers signed.

And then all of this will go in the history books of the story of you and me, an unchanging and permanent mark in time.

#3: Your Knees Get All Bendy When You Dance

Or maybe this one should simply say, "You dance." Reason enough to love a man.
